Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive Operations Training Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring that both new starters and existing colleagues receive the training they need to succeed in their roles. You’ll design and deliver effective, engaging training across a range of operational processes.

The Ideal Candidate
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience delivering training, ideally within a Customer Service or similar operational environmen
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and present clearly to a variety of audiences
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within the organisation
- Skilled in designing and developing training content and supporting materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training to new and existing team members within the Operations department
- Proactively identify training and development needs through observation, feedback, and performance trends
- Support the design and delivery of engaging, effective, and role-specific training sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records in line with compliance and operational requirements
- Develop and manage a comprehensive training schedule to ensure timely and consistent delivery
- Regularly review and update training materials to reflect changes in systems, processes, or business needs

About the Operations Department
Our Operations teams play an important role in keeping everything moving so that our customers receive outstanding service. With more than 1.5 million components in our logistics supply chain our Operations team are able to track the location of every component and know in real time what components our engineers have used. Whether a stairlift installation takes place in Manchester or Milan replacement parts are despatched, often on the same day, to ensure all our customers' needs can be met. Acorn's Global fleet consists of around 600 vehicles which are the workhorses of our organisation and it is vital they are maintained and serviced to a high standard. Opportunities within Operations include team leader, logistics co-ordinator, fleet administration and heavy goods vehicle driver.
